The cottages are an ideal base for many activities such as sailing (Carsington Reservoir) and cycling (Manifold Valley, High Peak and Tissington trails) or simply walking in the many beautiful dales close by. If you don't feel like being so energetic and just want to kick a ball around with the children, there is a large paddock behind the cottages or you can relax in the garden and enjoy the breath taking views of the surrounding countryside.

There is a shared utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, a well stocked fridge/freezer and a selection of emergency provisions. There is a large play barn with table tennis, table football, play station etc., a paddock with badminton, football and other energetic pursuits, a paved patio area with BBQ. Ample off-road parking. Sorry, no pets no smokers.
