Quotes from visitors in 2008 |
Martin, Diane and our dog Roxy. We all had a good time, could
have stayed longer, so much to see and do. The cottage was lovely
and cosy to come back to after our long walks each day.
We loved
this well-equipped home from home. So cosy and warm in a great
location. Wish I could bottle the air here and take if home!
Had
a great time, lovely walks, great caves, nice cottage and
village. Local bread shop made a great chocolate cake for
Andrew’s birthday.
Where can I start! This is like a
gem in the centre of chaos with all the cities around it. This
area is great and there are lots of wonderful walks right on the
doorstep and the weather was great to complete the lovely rambles.
Great location, lovely garden. Very friendly village. The week went far too quickly!
The
cottage was very cosy and easy to get to most places. Bread shop
excellent especially their filled rolls. The fish & chip shop
has a variety of meals and are very good. Garden, when sunny, is
private and relaxing. This is a good place to ‘recharge
your batteries’.
Lovely cottage that would definitely be
recommended. Charlie (our Labrador) gave the garden 10/10!!
Bradwell village worth a good wander round whilst eating a Bradwell ice
cream.
2nd stay at The Croft. Very comfortable and
spacious cottage and we all love the garden. Enjoyed walking in
this beautiful area.
We have really “peaked”, what a
great area, as a much travelled family throughout the British Isles it
has impressed us greatly. Great drives Winnats Pass, Snake Pass
and Derwent Valley. Walks abound from the doorstep and the view
from the hill you see from the cottage is spectacular and well worth
the climb. Good local pubs. Also great to just relax in the
cottage and it’s garden.
Had a very pleasant stay enjoying
the stunning scenery and blest with good weather. Situation of
cottage in ideal area for all amenities.
Great holiday as usual, cottage very cosy. See you next year.
A
second visit for us – such a lovely place to stay – both
the cottage itself and the village. Hope to be back again
soon. |
