The village, which is six miles from both Buxton and Bakewell, makes an ideal base for exploring the Peak District on foot or by car. There are two public houses in Taddington which sell locally brewed ales.
A regular bus route between Manchester and Nottingham passes through the village every two hours.
There is a comfortable living room with log or coal burner and TV. Electricity and central heating are included in the charge, as is a supply of logs and coal. The view from the window looks out over open fields. There is space to the front of the property for off-road parking.
You will find an area to sit outside that has seats and fine views of the open countryside that surrounds Taddington.
The bright and airy kitchen / dining room is well equipped with an electric cooker, a fridge which has an ice box and a microwave oven. Facilities for ironing are provided.
