Bogtrotting on BleaklowThe top of Bleaklow is a wild, featureless plateau of peat bog, cut by deep 'groughs' formed by small streams. Even in good weather, navigation is a challenge once you stray from the main paths, such as the Pennine Way. In bad weather or thick cloud or mist this is no place for the novice navigator. |
