Our cottage, known as Eagle Cottage, is situated in the centre of Birchover, a delightful Peak District village not far from Matlock.

The cottage is available all year round. The minimum let in summer is one week; the remainder of the year can be booked in odd days with the exception of Christmas and Bank Holidays which are usually let on a weekly basis. We also do short breaks and long weekends. Sorry, we don't accept pets. Visitors are requested not to smoke in the cottage.

The cottage accommodates up to 4 people in two bedrooms, both with a double beds. There is a single fold-up bed available on request.

The cottage has been awarded three stars under the Heart of England Tourist Board grading scheme.

The accommodation consists of:

- a comfortable sitting room with easy chairs and colour television (wth satellite receiver), radio and DVD player. Log burning stove in addition to storage radiator.


- two bedrooms, each with a double bed.


- a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and washing machine -


- a bathroom with shower over the bath and shaver point.

Parking is available for one car in front of the cottage. Heating is by means of storage radiators and there is also a log burning stove in the sitting room. Electricity is free. There is a small garden at the front of the cottage and a grassed area at the rear with picnic table.
